Year-end message from Bob Reczka

With the holidays almost upon us and 2017 drawing to a close, it is an excellent time to pause and reflect on the year behind us.

I am grateful to all of our clients for the opportunity to work with you this year. Thank you for your support and your business.

The past 12 months have been busy ones for us at Celero. We have moved forward on many initiatives to improve our organization so we can deliver market demanded solutions faster, expand the value we provide to the credit union sector and, always, ensure excellence in delivery.

Over the past year, we have worked a number of important initiatives to positively support your business:

2017 highlights
  • Delivering world-class DNA banking system availability of 99.989%
  • We successfully launched our business analytics solution for credit unions and are now working with credit unions across the country to expand our analytics offering.
  • Ensured Celero is well-run and a great place to work. An engaged team at Celero means better service to your credit union. Celero was recently recognized as one of Canada’s Best Small & Medium Employers, attaining Platinum status for achieving a top-quartile engagement score.
  • As a result of the renewed DNA client banking agreements, Celero will deliver close to $1.5 million in savings to our DNA clients over the course of 2017 and 2018.
  • We added nine new apps to Fiserv’s DNAapp store in 2017 with another five in development and 10 in the planning process.
  • This fall, we introduced a Digital Process and Content Management offering and have partnered with Newgen Software to deliver leading-edge capabilities in this critical area for credit unions.
  • We launched the Celero Ideas Portal to engage more effectively with credit unions on new product development.
Looking ahead

We have made some changes to how our organization is structured to provide new digital capabilities to credit unions with greater speed and delivery quality.

Most of these changes have happened behind the scenes, and we are keenly focused on ensuring the service you receive from Celero is not disrupted, and we maintain the reliability and client-first relationships you count on for your credit union.
We have many new digital solutions in the planning stages for 2018 and we look forward to engaging your credit union in planning your unique approach to becoming digitally ready for your members and staff. Expect a call from us early in the new year!

A great way to get connected with the rapidly changing fintech world and to see what’s available or coming to your credit union, is to join us at the tenth annual Celero Fintech Conference this coming September in spectacular Whistler, BC. This conference is “the” place to network with your peers from across Canada on where our industry is heading and how technology will play a critical role in serving members and driving efficiencies in your business. We’ll be sharing more details on this year’s event in early spring.

The Celero Team is eager to work with you over the coming year to help you most leverage technology and build a more competitive business.

From myself, and the rest of the entire Celero team, we wish you a safe and happy holiday season and a wonderful New Year.
